It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 64,4%. This is a tasting set from 2022 where we had a lot of fun around the table. I don't get Asta Morris that often and maybe I should try to sample more because they do perform pretty well. Fruity with nice wood and a nice caramel note on the palate. Nice dark colour and draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up a light chocolate note.
Spoiler c'est du Foursquare ça surprendra pas les fans habitués ! Mais c'est très bien réalisé, la vanille, la coco, le caramel, les épices...tout ça avec un alcool qui vient chatouiller le palais juste comme il faut. J'ai l'impression de sentir une jolie pâtisserie bien gourmandes qui donne envie de croquer dedans !! Rasta Morris nous habitue généralement à de la bonne qualité et celui ci ne déroge pas à la règle. La finale se prolonge laisse une jolie vanille pendant plusieurs minutes sur la langue c'est très agréable !
Næse: Typisk Foursquare. Ananas, kokos. Procenter kilder lidt, men ikke noget forstyrrende. Smag: Meget Foursquare. Eftersmag: Mellemlang til lang, krydret og godt varm pga de høje %.
