"This is a high class Agricole that’s dry, well balanced and complex. The nose is quite floral and the aromas from the cognac barrel can’t be missed. At the palate it’s floral, grassy and spicy with a nice and spicy finish."
"Strong peach aromas on the nose, very mild and sweet, floral, unmistakably Agricole. Also mild on the palate, again typical Agricole and with a clear swing towards the barrel. It is slightly watery but still has enough power. Long finish, very dry, spicy and hardly fruity. Interesting J.M but somehow I still have a hard time with Agricole."
"Cognac cask often add to the rums in my recent experience. This one confirms my opinion, with the JM profile still pretty similar to 2000/3 millesims, but with another level of complexity added to the mix. Dark dried fruits, along with spices and vanilla increase my appreciation for this rhum"
"Ahhh... Ça c'est un petit rhum plaisir. On reconnaît bien la Martinique mais aussi le cognac. Un mariage heureux et harmonieux. Un côté fruité pêche/poire persiste tout au long de la dégustation. Le faible degré est bien géré et donne un peu de fraîcheur."
