"The finish works quite well here but also dominates the profile. Intensity is pretty good given the low ABV, however, the finish adds a lot of sweetness. While the sherry is dominating, adding red fruits and a smooth mouthfeels, the profile is not overly complex."
"Compared to the parallel tasted RX930 clearly more accessible, here the lower alcohol content pays off times properly. The Bristol Cuban is a typical representative of the Destilería "Paraíso", light and fluffy and wonderfully fragrant and tasting of apple and pear.An ideal companion for a lively evening and quite offerable to friends who otherwise have nothing to do with rum.I would probably prefer the rum with 5-10% more alcohol, if he would bring the same flavors so beautifully to the fore, but he is also so a pleasant rum with recognition value."
"Good digestible rum, the low ABV makes it a nice sipper. I find it lacks a little complexity. It's nice, but not outstanding, but still very good for in between. I felt the same way about this one as I did about the Plantation bottling. Actually intended as a mixer, but surprised that you can also enjoy it neat."
