“Picked up this nice bottle last Saturday and surprised myself by not opening it until today. This is a wonderful rhum Agricole and yes I know you pay extra for the nice crystal decanter :-) The nose is wonderfully fruity with spices, caramel and coconut. There is some candy and grass in there too. The palate matches the nose and then some. Well balanced and slightly salty with lots of fruit and spices. Caramel, coffee and smoky wood finishes the whole experience. The finish is very long, slightly dry with orange zest and spices. Again finishing the experience with smoked wood.”
