Community Tasting Enmore 1990 VSG/MEV als Blindverkostung. Rum 6 Sehr komplex an Nase und Gaumen aber etwas blass … evtl etwas verdünnt. Gefällt mir grundsätzlich aber gleichzeitig stört mich die Verdünnung etwas. No6 of the 1990 Enmore Tasting, thanks to Alex Kunath. I like the nose, it is more expressive than i.e. No5, but the tongue is thin - only immediately notes it is not cask strength. This makes the taste a bit short, the flavours seem to be gone far too soon. This makes it less in points than others, I wonder what this would have been with 5 or 10% more.

RumX Community Tasting - Enmore 1990 (danke an Alex!) Die Nase ist irgendwie seltsam, ich kann es nicht richtig benennen. Interessant aber nicht wirklich gut. Am Gaumen wird es auf der einen Seite besser, auf der anderen Seite etwas zu dünn.

Balanced, but ultimately a bit too tamed. Although here, as with other Moon Demeraras, the dilution does not dilute at all, but compared to other representatives from the 1990 batch is lost a little flavor intensity. Regardless, a very tasty rum remains without blemish, which raises all the more the question of what would have been possible without dilution.

Cross Tastinge across 12 bottlings of 1990 Versialles destilled Enmores. Looking at the reduced bottlings (Alamein, RN, Moon). On the nose all can hold up predatory good with the higher ABv bottlings. The RN finis is well executed, while somewhat overwhelming the Versailles notes. Still nice. Alambic with a nice basket of continental fruits and Moon delivering all classic notes beautifully. On the palate all three are very approachable with RN‘s finish again being very noticeable and present - for me a bit too intense. Despite the reduction, the Alambic carries some sting while providing intensity. The Moon bottling adds quite some sweetness, yet also noctiable burnt notes in the background.

RumX Blind Tasting 8x Enmore 1990 Rum Nr. 6 Leider viel zu dünn. Lakrize deutlich ausgeprägter als bei anderen Abfüllungen. Auch ist er mir eine Spur zu bitter. Besten Dank an Alex fürs organisieren!

Enmore 1990 Blindtasting Nr.6: Diese Abfüllung ist mit zu geringem ABV und zusehr zu lasten der Gewürze. Daher kommt sie weniger komplex daher und wirkt insgesamt etwas eindimensional. Für mich eine der schwächeren Abfüllungen

23.02.2019 A nice afternoon and evening with friends both new and old. Notes. Medium dark in colour. Nose: fresh, wood, citrus, banana, light smoke. Palate: light, wood, licorice, light smoke, leather, dried fruit. Finish: medium long, wood, licorice, raisin, smoke.

Community Tasting Enmore 1990. No 6. Un nez de bois et de caramel brûlé avec du bois humide et un côté étrange que je ne retrouve heureusement pas en bouche. Bouche très marquée par le bois, le bois humide, le caramel brûlé. Les autres arômes peinent à émerger. La finale est longue, mais, comme ce rhum, assez unilatérale avec un petit côté fumé. Le moins bon de la série à mon goût.

Verspätete Bewertung des Enmore 1990 RumXCommunity Tasting. In der Nase ist der Rum für mich am stärksten. Schöne holzige und würzige Noten steigen aus dem Glas heraus. Im Geschmack und im Abgang fällt er deutlich ab. Irgendwie schmeckt er sehr verwässert.
