To Bermudez
"6,7:On the nose, immediate reaction?Sugar. To me it actually shows up in the nose and the sweetness dominates such, then leather, buttery, coffee and some orange and there was notable (and excessive) vanilla presence. 7:The palate was consistent. The rum was heavy and thick in the glass when swirled. Very full SMOOTH body on entry with a massive, mouthcoating honey, tropical fruit, oak, caramel, toffee and a bit of leather astringency late, even some iodine, a nice hot 'n sweet lip-coating clove. 6:The finish is rather short with some pepper. Iodine usually means age under 10. So 12 y mark?"
"Again, a very digestible rum which has a slightly woody smell. The taste is also very woody. On the whole, you can drink this rum quite well. Nothing special but really okay."
"A woody, slightly sweet aroma, somewhat spicy. The taste is also spicy, somewhat fruity and only slightly sweet, with a woody finish. A good dry rum."
"Sweet at first, then slightly spicy. Delicate sweetish taste, long woody finish."
