"It needs a good oxygenation time to show its potential! In this reduced-degree version the citrus and fruit scents stand out much more, with a very pleasant sugarcane garnish! Wood integrated quite well and some mouthwatering notes accompanying the whole tasting!"

"Relaxed Rhum Rhum. Does not quite come up to its excellent predecessors."

"Nose mild, fruity and sweet. Besides an elusive note - possibly "earthy"?on the palate it reminds me fleetingly of Highland whiskey. The earthy note is also present here, a bit like wet musty wood.The medium-long finish brings no surprise and remains predominantly on the woody side. Does not belong to the varieties of rum that I prefer."

"Dried apricots, bananas, almonds. Slightly watery in the mouth, but very drinkable. Great Agricole, clearly reminds me of the 2012."

"Having tried the release that hasn't been watered down I habe to admit that a bit has been lost when reducing the ABV. It will however attract more people by releasing two different levels of ABV. The nose is fruity with spices, wood and a hint of nuts. The palate is lightly dry, yet thin with fruit, wood and spices trailed by some nuts. The finish is medium long and warm with fruit, wood and spices."

"Un buon rum, probabilmente a grado pieno ha più carattere e più corpo al palato. Il naso è delicato ma di carattere. Al palato in alcuni tratti del sorso questo rum manca un po’ di “corpo”, sembra un po’ leggero. Resta comunque una piacevole bevuta"

"Un rhum qui se laisse porté au nez par les épices, les notes herbeuses et végétales, une pointe terreuse et les fruits secs (abricots), sur un profil typique de la région. Cette douceur au nez se retrouve en bouche, avec des notes herbacées et végétales marquées, du foin, de la camomille et de la fraîcheur, puis suivent la canne à sucre, les épices douces, les fruits secs et l’amande. La finale, de longueur moyenne, poursuit sur la même trame terreuse et épicée, sèche et légèrement boisée. Un profil linéaire qui manque malheureusement de caractère pour être vraiment marquant."

"Blind tasting. Sugarcane spirit, from fresh juice, not molasses. Sweet-grassy. Vanilla. Fresh fruits. Toffee oak. Sweet toasted oak. Was surprised that’s it’s Liberation 2020. Expected more French wine influence. But rum are good. Blind score was 82-83/100"

"Grosse déception, Profil aromatique faible. Nez un peu épicé et boisé, on retrouve une note de fruit confit et de fruit séché mais c’est pauvre. En bouche rien. Un peu de vous, un peu de vanille, 3 secondes et puis plus rien. Une sensation de chaud reste et un côté asséchant. On dirait qu’il a été réduit à la va-vite avec de l’eau déminéralisé, sans qu’aucun soin ni soit apporté. Dommage."
