The "Kill Devil" was produced in Cuba at the Sancti Spiritus distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. This is a limited release and there are only 362 bottles.

“blind hätte ich hier niemals auf Kuba getippt. absolut abgefahrene, super intensive Note nach überreifer Banane, grünen vergorenen Trauben, Rose, Essig, leicht Vanille und Karessig und grüner Apfel... das hätte auch ein junger Jamaikaner oder Fiji Rum sein können... abgefahren! insgesamt mir persönlich aber etwas zu säuerlich und Essig-lastig. aber für einen Kubaner schon wirklich abgefahren und Mal was ganz anderes!”
