I begin my education little by little on the Caroni and this one is very pleasant because more consensual than his friends of Velier.
Second and final tasting (the bottle is now empty)I have the impression that the medicinal notes have intensified in the time the bottle has been open. Resin has been added. The same on the palate. I did not remember it so intense.finish remains restrained. Better than I remembered him ( 3 points).This is my first Caroni and I'm honestly a little disappointed because I expected more. But so it is with expectations 😁Insgesamt but still a good rum.
Nice Caroni notes on the nose. Taste wise not very present, however. Feels a little bit watered down.
The frequently mentioned, dirty notes of ''Caroni'' are limited here, but can definitely be detected and ideally complement this otherwise very fruity and fine drinking experience. A great rum for my palate!
