How does this rum taste?
- Complex floral notes
- Balanced spice and fruit
- Long, oaky finish
The Rumclub Private Selection Ed. 08 from the Bielle distillery in Marie Galante presents a multifaceted profile. Distilled from sugar cane juice and aged for eight years, this rum combines floral and fruity aromas with woody and spicy flavors. Noteworthy hints of orange peel, vanilla, and caramel create a complex bouquet, while the palate reveals a mix of bitter, toasted, and woody notes with a lasting, oaky finish. "thanks to dr Django for the sample, nice rum but finish is a little "artificial sweetener" tasting."

"I like this one a lot especially because it's a cheaper rum that pulls off a balanced and complex overall usually found in more expensive rums. The nose is spiced with orange and oak/leather. There is also a light floral note with caramel at the end. The palate is complex and well balanced with fruit and spice. I can also find toasted oak and smoke. The finish is long and oaky/smoky with fruits. "

"I get a little Cointreau like orange note that tastes a bit artificial and I’m not a big fan of that taste. Apart from that this is a decent agricole."
