Mixed Nice mixed Slight complexity Surprising it’s from Cuba

Nice Sipper, complex, coffee, woody, nutty. don't mix, takes some the enjoyment out But at this price mixed might be ok

Something completely different from Trinidad. Very strong citrus tones in the smell and taste without being artificial like the pyrat

A rich taste with woody, caramel and fruit aroma's. A little sweet, with a touch of bitterness. A nice long aftertaste. Very easy on the tongue. I enjoyed it very much!

On The Rocks: On the nose lots of nuts with a little fruit and spice. The smell is a little more unique with this rum. Taste is strong Nutty notes with dark chocolate and some slight bitterness. This flavour trails off into a long finish with the bitterness with slight nutty notes. This is a very interesting rum with a more unique flavour profile. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose slight caramel sweetness with mild nutty notes. Taste continues the caramel and nutty notes with much less bitterness and overall is very smooth and enjoyable. You could enjoy this rum nicely either way.

For a moderate price you get a harmonious rum that integrates the darker notes typical of Cuba well and impresses with a smooth overall impression. Probably slightly sweetened. Nose: Nice scent of dark fruits (plums, raisins), plus subtle sweetness, nuts and present vanilla. Palate: Noticeably sweet and smooth-creamy on the tongue, with caramel, nuts, cocoa and some tobacco/leather. At the end it becomes drier and the oak spice comes through subtly. Finish: The finish is not particularly long. There is a subtle spice and at the end the aroma of dark chocolate emerges.

Unfortunately, very artificial and sweet. Disappointing.

At the second tasting I found myself surprised because I sensed new aromas on the palate. I was probably not at my best last time.A very pleasant rum with light barrel notes. Medium finish and albeit too low alcohol content. The low price plays in its favor. Cuban rums, and in Spanish in general, lack the courage to try stronger gradations.

Nez assez fruité, malgré le "faible taux" d'alcool, légèrement piquant. Vanille et caramel également. En bouche, je ressens plus les notes boisées du fût et fruits secs mais toujours un peu de douceur "caramel". Finale moyenne.

Fresh and fruity profile. Pretty sweet but the empty glass is really nice.

Nice Rum, with a nutty sweet taste.....you can drink more of it with mix than by itself ..great price point

On the nose vanilla, a little leather, burnt sugar, caramel, chocolate, barrel, a hint of tobacco and dried fruits, not bad. The palate is delicate with wood, leather, caramel, vanilla, tobacco, chocolate, and in the finish a fine citrus/aspra note

A slightly fruity, woody aroma, a little spicy, with some sweetness in the background. Some vanilla, caramel and wood on the palate.
