"Sitting on my couch enjoying my final sample of this treasure. A wonderfully complex and balanced rum that is kind of a heavy rum. Despite all the years in the cask the oak never takes over and becomes dominant. Nutty with light fruits and wood. There is a hint of nuts and smoke on the palate and finish. There is a hint of caramel and coffee in there as well. A wonderful rum :-)"
"Muss Volkmar recht geben.
Superbe Balance"
