It was distilled in 2001 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 55,6%. Light and fruity rum with a touch of spices. I'd love to try this rum at an age a bit older, then I think it carry far more flavours.
Eine leichte Nase trotz den 55,6% mit etwas Rauch, Karamel und Früchten in Form von Birnen und Trauben. Am Gaumen sind die typischen Panama Aromen Karamell und Vanille zu finden. Außerdem noch Zitrusfrüche, Eiche und eine sehr angenehme Süße. Diese Süße geht hervorragend einher mit dem Alkoholgehalt von rund 55%. Im Abgang ist dann nochmal die Eiche deutlich zu wahrzunehmen. Neben dem Our Rum & Spirits der beste Panamanese den ich kenne. Wobei ich hier auch sagen muss, dass mein Panama-Spektrum nicht allzu groß ist ;-). 80 Punkte
