"Very rare bottling made only for Hong Kong.More awesome on the palate than on the nose for me.Better than the Kill Devil 1983 HD, but for me slightly behind the RA 1983 HD.Thanks Artur for the opportunity to taste it." - 9.0/10

"Astringent monster. There is so much happening towards the back. It is impressive how little woody the rum is." - 9.0/10

"Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the last one of the six. This is a VERY rare bottle as it was originally made for the Hong Kong Market. Even the bottle is out of this world. No wonder this one was saved for last as I'm pretty sure I will never taste this one again unless I go visit Hong Kong and find a bar that has it. A true Hampden rum and it's so full of funk that every Jamaican would start dancing just smelling it. A true masterpiece from CDI that I would have loved to have in my collection. " - 9.2/10
