A legendary bottle! A really complex rum, it transforms in the mouth where it always leaves you with something new! The thing that amazed me the most is that it has a really terrific balance, one of those bottles you would never stop drinking!
Falls slightly behind the top group of 88, 96 and 97 in blind comparison with the other Velier Uitvlugts, but moves at the top level despite a somewhat restrained nose.
Can perhaps not quite keep up with the other Verliere uitvlugts, nevertheless very high level.
Rather disappointing on the palate. However, the intense flavors then save him.
