How does this rum taste?
What stands out most to reviewers about the Warren Khong is its remarkable complexity, with a profile that mixes minty freshness and layers of tropical fruit like mango and pineapple. Many note a vibrant and slightly wild nose of glue, varnish, and even papaya, while the palate balances spicy and fruity notes with bracing intensity. Sippers enjoy this rum slowly, often as a contemplative pour for rum enthusiasts seeking something different. Its robust balance and memorable, lasting finish ensure it is highly recommended by experienced tasters, especially those looking for a distinctive Saint Lucia expression.

I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 47,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
One of the best St. Lucia rums. Complex and harmonious.
In my opinion a mix between long pond teca 2003 and the white river antoine!A really particular rum where you go from fermented and acrid parts to a moldy part to a sour fruit! From the background a charred feeling not annoying! Not for everyone but I like it very much!
