How does this rum taste?
The S.B.S Panama rum, distilled in 2006 from molasses and aged for 12 years, presents a complex blend of flavors. Bottled by 1423 World Class Spirits, this limited-edition release from Panama boasts an impressive 55% ABV. This weekend was very busy because I've been building a new shelf system for my 250+ bottles so my Saturday and Sunday tastings haven't been added :-) This is a very nice Panamanian rum that has a kick to it in the finish.
Very solid sipping rum. Nice woody notes in the finish, which get nice support from sweetness. Great Panama rum. Always a pleasure in the glass.
A classic representative of the Spanish style. Very good, light sipping rum. Slightly sweet with lots of chocolate, then fruity again on the finish.
