The "Barbados 18" was produced in Barbados at the Foursquare distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Duchess. It was distilled in 2001 from Molasses and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 56,9%. This is a limited release and there are only 205 bottles. 14 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.2/10. The rum smells like Coconut, Raisin and Vanilla, and on the palate there is Coconut, Raisin and Woody.

04-05.11.2022 Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival 2022. Another return to this big event where many people go to get drunk. Once again we had a special event for a select set of people. Notes. Pretty decent release especially when looking at the price tag at release. Nice and fruity profile with caramel and light smoke. Medium to long finish.
Le nez est agréable, dans les standards de Foursquare. La bouche n'est pas des plus élégantes : l'alcool pourrait être mieux intégré, le boisé est astringent et peu flatteur et la finale est courte. Ça n'est pas mauvais pour autant mais il y a pas de plus value par rapport à la gamme classique.
Mild integrated with higher esthers in the end.
