The "Trinidad HTR" was produced in Trinidad at the Caroni distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 1997 from Molasses and then aged for 16 years. The rum has an ABV of 46% and the mark is HTR. 03.01.2020 In a cottage with friends for the weekend with a few bottles of rum. Notes: Medium to dark in colour. Nose: Intense, wood, roasted, raisin, citrus, light rubber and tar. Palate: Light, oily, wood, light smoke, cherry, light rubber and tar. Finish: Light, medium long, wood, light rubber, raisin, faint chocolate.
... Caroni je destilerie z Trinidadu, produkujici v dobe sve nejvetsi slavy rum, ktery se pridaval v pomeru 1:10 do namornickeho blendu. Byl totiz moc vyrazny a divny nez aby byl prijemny na jazyku. V roce 2000 destilerka skoncila s produkci a byla uzavrena. Az v roce 2010 se objevili degustatori, kteri si rum oblibili prave pro jeho specialni chut. A zajem rostl. Caroni patri do kategorie rumu "you need to try before you die". Doporucuji, Caroni je opravdu unikatni rum.
