T.D.L Kill Devil 2003
Highly praised as a relaxed, characterful TDL with balanced wood, caramel and fruit. Fresh, light and easy to drink while still offering enough complexity to keep explorers interested.
Curious explorers who enjoy moderately dry, fruity Trinidaddians with caramel, vanilla and light woody spice, and want an easy-drinking single cask without added sugar.

How does this rum taste?
Relaxed, fruity Trinidad sipper
If you like balanced, easy TDLs like Corman Collins or Bristol bottlings, this one gives you similar caramel-wood-fruit charm with a slightly drier, fresher profile at friendly strength.
Those chasing intense, high-ester funk or very long finishes, or drinkers who want heavy sweetness and thick mouthfeel from their sippers.

By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 270,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

A sweet and spicy aroma, a little vanilla, quaffable. Also the taste is slightly sweet, a little burning from the alcohol in the finish.Very pleasant.
Herbs and spices dominate on the nose while the fruits with chocolate and wood are in front in the taste.Unfortunately, the rum is very volatile, there is virtually no finish.
The nose is floral and buttery with hazelnuts! But also fruity: cherry! Some sweeter and woody aromas stand out. It is successful and charming. In mouth, it is dense and dry! We find the cherry of the nose, lime and spices. The whole is enhanced by a very pleasant vanilla touch. The finish is slightly acidic and slightly stings the tongue. We have a small minty and iodized effect which remains in mouth. The length is more than respectable on the wood! Nice TDL ! It is fresh, light and can be drunk very (too) easily. But despite everything, it remains complex and fun.
