"This excelled a lot over the old plum Variant. Either the cask has been a lot more active or the time was just longer. This one clearly shows a promising direction. But in all honesty i am unsure wether it really could get into greatness.."

"Und der letzte Ron Johan für heute, damit hab ich jetzt 7/8 :-). Der ist echt nicht übel im Vergleich zu den beiden vorherigen, holzige und blumige Nase, am Gaumen auch Holz (Eiche), sowie Gewürze (Muskatnuss). Denke dies ist der beste Ron Johan."

"Diese süßwürzige Aromatik in der Nase ist speziell und gefällt mir sehr gut - leichte Anklänge von Jamaika mit den Aromen von Ester sind nicht von der Hand zu weisen. Der Alkohol ist wirklich gut eingebunden und bringt die einzelnen Geschmackskomponenten kräftig voran. Diesen Rum sollte man pur im Glas genießen. Er ist sehr lecker und gefährlich süffig. Aber Achtung, er ist fassstark."
