To Mount Gay
"18.07.2020 A nice tasting at my friends place including a nice dinner. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light, fruity, faint grass, light honey, banana, faint caramel. Palate Light, light wood, light pear, faint grass, pineapple, naturally sweet, light dried fruit, light chocolate. Finish Medium long, light, light wood, lightly sweet, fruity, light chocolate."
"Even if I'm not a Barbados fan and the fewest Mount Gays appeal to me, so catcht me this rum somehow. In contrast to its brother from the rum club much more balanced and harmonious. Both the smokiness, as this certain herbal note (which I still can not identify), are clearly more discreetly present and thus give a more rounded overall picture. The dilution I feel is unnecessary, but is surprisingly not noticeable and contributes to the fact that it could almost be an easy sipper. Tasty, exciting and above all (at least for me) something different. One must never stop to try even supposedly known new!"
