The "Demerara Rum" was produced in Guyana at the Demerara Distillers Ltd distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 2002 from Molasses and then aged for 14 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. Really nice rum from Samaroli with this Demerara 2002 from Guyana, very round and enjoyable. Could use more watts for a longer finish, but beautifully executed for a rum at 45%. Would love to know more about the components used in this.
