“Ein schöner Vertreter der 98er Bellevue. Sehr erwachsener Rum, der seine Liebhaber sicher bei den Demerara-Freunden haben wird. Alkohol leider nicht ganz perfekt eingebunden, leicht kratzig hintenraus. Ist nicht super tiefgründig, eher geradlinig im Geschmack. Die erdige Eichenholz/Melassenote zieht sich von vorne bis hinten durch. Kommt auch noch aus einer Zeit mit guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnissen in der Industrie (vor allem bei RA).”

“Really a great rum! Nose: Fruity, Prunes, licorice, smoky, minty & black tea with a hint of yellow habaneros (without the spiciness) Palate: Cappuccino, licorice, dark chocolate, black tea, minty Finish: Long and dry with notes of chocolate, anise, black tea, tobacco and a lot of caramel, Unfortunately, the 4th and last place of my Bellevue tasting.”

“Auch ein echt guter Rum. In der Nase überwiegend Gewürze und sehr rauchig. Am Gaumen gesellen sich dann noch Holz und Röstigkeit zu den Gewürzen. Für mich ist er auch leicht Schokoladig. Insgesamt mehr als solide.”
