"With a beautiful label and a fantastic story around “Nelson’s Blood” it’s a pity that it’s not produced anymore. I really hope it will come back, hopefully in a Navy strength version cause that would balance the sweetness in a good way."

"Ein toller blend. Für mich ist dieser Rum einer der Hauptgründe weshalb ich rumtrinker geworden bin. Sehr intensiv. Aber trotzdem nicht kratzen oder beißend. Hier sind wirklich gute Rums zusammen gekommen. Das preis Leistungsverhältnis war damals sehr gut. Heute ist dieser Tropfen leider nur noch sehr schwer zu bekommen. Sehr schade.vor allem der Nachfolger (15yo pussers) kann bei weitem da nicht mithalten"

"The "old" Pussers Nelsons Blood is convincing across the board. It is not as Guyana-heavy as its successor, the Pussers 15. Fine fruit on the nose and in the taste. The rest is super balanced and round. Certainly not super complex, but the aromas harmonize very well. A fine woody note accompanies the entire tasting. A fantastic rum for me. Unfortunately, it is no longer available through normal channels."
