“At the price tag this is a great rum, maybe I got it at a very special price bit it is very good indeed. The nose is fruity with lots of spices and there is something floral to it as well. The palate is balanced and complex with lots of fruit and spices matchibt the nose. Slight sweetness and burnt sugar later on. The finish is long and dry with wood and spice.”

“Unerwartet strömt als erstes der Geruch von Lebkuchen und Orangeat in die Nase. Ein würziger und zugleich frischer Duft. Es kommt gleichermaßen etwas künstliches, an Nagellackentferner-tabs erinnerndes, und blumiges, vielleicht Veilchen, durch. Wieder eine Überraschung Am Gaumen. Da ist zuerst eine holzig Note, die sogleich von einer würzigen Süße eingeholt wird. Zitrusfruchschale und das Orangeat wieder. Und Gewürznelke. Im Abgang immer noch diese schöne Würze gepaart mit Orangeat, ganz feine Bitternoten... wirkt recht frisch für seine 25 Jahre. Eine Erklärung könnte in der kontinentalen Lagerung liegen... Wirklich ein überraschender und toller Rum! Gefällt mir.”
