How does this rum taste?
The Reserve Rum of Trinidad Sherrywood is a distinctive offering from the Caroni distillery, carefully selected and bottled by Bristol Classic Rum. Originating from Trinidad, it is distilled from molasses and aged for 10 years, boasting a 43% ABV. Users describe complex aromas of caramel, prunes, and raisin, with a subtle woodiness. On the palate, it's characterized by caramelized, roasted, and sherry notes, with a dark brown ensemble. Reviewers find its finish medium in length, with a sweet and lightly smoky profile, though opinions vary on its sherry influence. This rum intrigues with its robust, rustic charm balanced against subtle, lighter wood and fruity elements.
