The "Kill Devil" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. A bit disappointing compared to the others we tried.
Little distinctive taste and aroma. First encounter with kill devil and so far no enthusiasm. Weakest drink I've ever had. Weak aroma, weak taste, slight hint of vanilla. Maybe a higher alcohol percentage would have saved it.
Ganz schön alkoholisch, sonst flach, dünn, etwas Holz, etwas Kräuter.
