The "Kill Devil Cuba" was produced in Cuba at the Sancti Spiritus distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. This is a limited release and there are only 347 bottles.

“Joa, kann man mal machen, muss man aber nicht. Typische Sancti-Spíritus-Noten, also helle Früchte wie Birne und Apfel, aber nicht sehr prägnant. Alkohol gut eingebunden, was bei 46% aber auch keine große Kunst ist. Gerade der 98er Jahrgang könnte auch etwas mehr Bums vertragen. Easy Sipper.”
