"Bought this Rhum Neisson Blanc 55 some months ago on my way home from Spain. The distillery has been operational since 1931 and they produce their AOC rhums from sugar cane from their own fields. The harvest takes place between late February and June and it’s during this period the Blanc 55 is produced from 5 different sugar canes, which probably gives it some complexity. Before bottled it has rested in stainless steel vats for 6 months. Overall a great premium Agricole Blanc that works well neat as well in an Ti Punch."

"#4556 19.01.2024 Got a set of samples from a former colleague in Sweden and today I'll give them a go. My tastebuds are still hyper sensitive, which can be both good and bad. This is a rum where the price to quality is extremely good. An Agricole that is fruity and fresh and well rounded. I love the floral touch in the profile. Tha palate is fresh and warm and the finish is long and spicy. Overall a very nice and well rounded Agricole that is medium dry. The empty glass has some mint to it."
"Wow... FOR 55% by volume, the rhum is quite mild. The nose is quite inviting and makes you want more. The taste reminded me, among other things, of a fruit brandy. The finish is long and brings other flavors to the day. A really good rhum. Can also be drunk very well pure. As Ti Punch🥃echt to recommend."
