The "Single Barrel (Ping 14)" was produced in Martinique at the Rhum J.M distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Juuls Vin & Spritis. It was distilled in 1999 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 20 years. The rum has an ABV of 43,6%. This is a limited release and there are only 412 bottles. 12 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.5/10. The rum smells like Caramel, White chocolate and Tobacco, and on the palate there is Oak, Diluted and Spice.

Had to open my Christmas present from my wife and give it a go. This is a rum exclusively for Denmark. Bottled by Juuls, Denmark and limited to 412 bottles. Part of the exclusive Ping series where it was named Ping 14. A typical high quality rhum Martinique that I can only recommend. A wonderful nose after 10-15 minutes shifting to an amazing palate and a long well balanced finish. Price to quality is very good.
