15.02.2019 I received a huge lot of Samaroli samples from my friend in the UK, and this is the third batch I tried. Notes. Light to medium dark in colour. Nose: light, fresh, light wood, vegetal, spice, dried fruit. Palate: oily, fresh, light, citrus, spice, light licorice, wood. Finish: medium long, wood, dried fruit, light chocolate.
I adore Samaroli. A tremendous Italian independent bottle that has been doing this for a very long time. Unfortunately, there’s not much information I can find on this bottling. That said, here are my tasting notes: marzipan, toasted coconut, hazelnut, marmalade, espresso
