Sweet, burned sugar (caramel), vanilla Short finish. Not bad for my taste.
Im Zuge eines Blind Tastings verkostet. In der Nase ist sofort diese spezielle pflaumige Fruchtigkeit präsent, die ich mit den Tres Hombres aus der Dominikanischen Republik verbinde. Sehr angenehme Nase. Das leere Glas später hat eine feine Holzrauchnote. Im Mund setzt sich die Frucht, vor allem die Pflaume zusammen mit Rosinen fort. Dahinter Backpulver, ziemlich süß, etwas kräutrig. Das Finish ist kurz und etwas dünn. Etwas trockener mit höherem Proof würde diesem Rum zum "sehr gut" helfen.
Oh ja sehr lecker. In Nase und Gaumen einen schöne leichte Vanille-, Karamell-, und Kaffeenote. Genau so soll es sein. Dieser Rum hat mich überzeugt. Kann und muss ihn auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Sehr lecker.
21.05.2022 Sampling at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light, light wood, sweet, fruits, caramel, light chocolate, dried fruit, light orange. Palate Oily, sweet, light wood, caramel, dried fruit, light orange, faint chocolate, port, vanilla. Finish Short to medium, sweet, oily, light wood, orange, light caramel, port, light chocolate. Extra note. This is a very sweet rum and I have been using it as dessert rum or for baking&on ice cream.
