09.02.2024 Nordlichter treffen. Retasting and I still like it a lot so I'll stick to my initial score. ------------------ 19. 01.2019 A nice evening with colleagues from all over Denmark. Notes. Very dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, roasted, citrus, raisin, anise. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, anise, raisin, light chocolate, light smoke,plum. Finish Long, wood, smoke, citrus, chocolate.
Great dark PM. A great mix of yellow fruit and cocoa on the nose. Then more cocoa in the mouth, some dried fruit and just dark overall. Uncomplicated and delicious, makes a great daily sipper
Closed on the nose, benefiting from some time in the air. A tick of something that I perceive as sulphur. Then still closed on the palate. Is that sulphur or is it more dried fruit? With a little time and a few drops of water, it opens up a little more. Not bad, but not a favorite.
Je ne sais pas si je suis influencé parce que je sais qu'il y a un finish sherry mais je le sens au nez et en bouche et je trouve que cela écrase les arômes du rhum qui me semble pas être extraordinaire. C'est rond, facile à boire mais un peu écoeurant.
