To Bellevue
""A "classic" Bellevue 1998, a little weak on the palate when the bottle opens but densifies very quickly and becomes quite good.""
"This is a great release from this bottler and at release the price was very good compared to the price tag. The nose is very fresh, fruity and woody trailed by herbs, mint and chocolate. I can only recommend leaving the empty glass and then nose it after a few hours. The palate isconplex and well balanced with fruits and wood trailed by chocolate, coffee and a hint of wet tobacco. The finish is very long with roasted wood, raisin and a hint of licorice."
"Lovely floral aroma, sifted cask, full of vanilla and a little menthol or something. Taste-wise, unfortunately, it's a weaker concoction of what's smelled. Maybe the rum is too old and I personally would have preferred a wilder profile. Nevertheless, it's still an excellent piece."
