Haven't tried many WIRD (don't like sugar in my rum and their owner....well.). So no reference personally. More Guyanaish than Foursquarish in the nose. Port Mourant comes to mind. In the mouth more caramel. Some burn. Plums. Some raspberry. Not bad. A tad on the dry/bitter side. Some glue/solvents (a bit of Foursquare after all!). This is a somewhat austere yet for me this is a spirit I'd like to look into a bit more...unsugared that is ;)
The nose is amazing. It gets me to the childrens age, xmas. Apple and clove. But too weak
