"#21st dec RumXCalendar Blind tasting: Nose: varnish, polish, green apple, peaches, earthy, smoky, anise Mouth: complex, molasses, earthy, black tea, grapefruit, peppery, woody?? Finish: mid long, molasses, bitter, varnish, menthol, smoky, mango, fruity My prediction: This could be from Guyana PM and i think I already had this in glass ca. 60%"
"RumX Day21: Blind: Was here more with the Ghana White, of course again missed 😁! I really like the PM, a concise nose, alcohol very well integrated and complex on the palate! The is really "quaffable"!"
"The HV PM white had to be compared to the Underdog Split #2. Somehow earthy on the nose or a bit like autumn leaves on the ground, I also thought of sourdough. Pretty wacky. I don't have the familiar PM markers like olive (especially with the continental ones) here at all. But surprisingly round on the palate. The ABV is well integrated."
"Very interesting to see the PM characteristics in an unaged bottling. Honestly, I think this unaged version is more enjoyable than some more recent younger continentally aged PM bottlings. Cheers to Stylo for sharing his bottle. 🙌"
