Bumbu XO 40%
Bumbu XO is a Caribbean-produced rum known for a complex yet approachable profile. Distilled from molasses using a column still and aged in both bourbon and sherry casks, it offers a unique blend of vanilla, caramel, and woody notes with a hint of fruitiness. While some users appreciate its toffee and coffee-like undertones as well as its suitability for cocktails, others find it lacking in complexity compared to its sweet sibling, Bumbu Original. Its lightweight, drinkable nature is well-suited for casual sipping or mixing, though opinions vary on its overall impact. Despite some views of it being thin and lacking authenticity, it remains an interesting choice for those exploring entry-level rums.

“Unlike the other Bumbu, this really tastes like Rum in the first place. But generally like you'd imagine how an average rum tastes, so there is nothig outstanding. But still not bad, overpriced though in my opinion.”
