The "Single Cask" was produced in Panama at the PMD distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Valinch & Mallet. It was distilled in 2006 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 58,6%. This is a limited release and there are only 279 bottles. 5 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.0/10. The rum smells like Caramel, Coconut and Barrel, and on the palate there is Dry, Dark chocolate and Barrel.

Not too bad a rum. The nose is lightly woody with fruits, spice and light caramel. The palate is lightly dry and woody with dried fruit, chocolate and caramel as well as a hint of spice. The finish is medium long and lightly dry with wood and dried fruit.
solides Tröpfchen, schöne fruchtige Nase. Bitterschokolade am Gaumen, gepaart mit Holz und Pfeffer. Mir fehlt da ein wenig der Kick, ist auch recht schnell verflogen. Nachtrag: nach 2 Stunden im Glas, kommen da tatsächlich noch ein paar dreckige Aromen ala Trinidad durch, was die Sache wieder ein wenig interessanter macht. ;-)
