Got the opportunity to taste this collectors rum at my recent visit to the distillery. It’s a great rum that’s worthy bearing one of the founders, Joseph Reimonenq, initials. There was just 1450 bottles produced in total and just a few left at the distillery. The nose is round, fruity, spicy and floral with some hints of wood and scents of citrus. At the palate it’s goes on in the same way with an increased woodiness together with a certain sweetness. The finish is rather long.
très bon et doux
