Toller, junger und wilder Rockley!
Blindverkostung: herber, würziger Honig, krasser Rauch und eine Note von Vanille in der Nase. Ganz klar ein Rockley! Die Nase geht voll am Gaumen auf – es ist alles wieder zu finden, am eindeutigsten ist aber der Rauch wahrzunehmen. Hinzukommen dunkle Gewürze in Form von schwarzem Pfeffer, Piment und Gewürznelken. Der Alkohol scheint mit seinen vermutlich knapp über ~55% gut eingebunden zu sein. Der Abgang ist geprägt von Rauch, warmen Rauch, einer leichten eichigen Bitterkeit und einem Hauch von Medizin. Einer der besseren Rockleys (wahrscheinlich) aus dem Jahr 2000 der ganz nahe an den Cadenheads BBR 11 yo ran kommt. Vielleicht sogar der Beste, das müsste aber ein Crosstasting zeigen. Schade, dass ich nur 2cl hatte, ich hätte mich gerne ein wenig mehr mit dem Rum beschäftigt und vielleicht noch ein Crosstasting gemacht. 89 Punkte
