“The base in this rum is a blend of 5yo rum from Guyana (DDL) and Barbados (a little unclear if it comes from WIRD or Foursquare, seen both data) aged in the Caribbean. I’ve taste this and I can clearly recognize Demerara at this stage. This base are after arriving to Jerez, Spain, aged for 3 more Solera years in barrels earlier contained Dos Cortados Sherry which is very dry. I think it’s quite good even if it can’t compete with my favorite Sherry finished rum, but it’s in my opinion much better than the 5+5.”

“Really an extreme difference between the 5 3 and the 5 5.The 5 3 is quite characterless, way too weak and just soft-spoken.”
