Personally, too weak on the chest, too sweet and not complex enough.

Sehr einfacher und süßer Rum

You will get a solid rum for beginners. This is probably one of the sweetest (unsweetened) rums i‘ ve ever tried! A really nice sweetly smell of Honey, vanilla, oak, nuts. In mouth the sweet continues where you‘ll find all the tastes from before in addition of some nice cookie dough. But it have a light, soft body, which is a big minus for an experienced drinker? The finish is short to medium long and continues his sweetness with a dominant taste of vanilla and honey.

Ich kann bei diesem Rum einfach nichts riechen? Vielleicht liegt es daran, weil angeblich kein Zucker zugesetzt ist. Schmeckt aber wirklich nicht schlecht, ein Rum den wohl nicht jeder kennt, bei dem Preis Leistung auf jeden Fall passt.

A pleasantly smooth and sweet rum. Woody, fruity, vanilla and honey characterize the taste. Even if it lacks a little depth, it is pleasantly drinkable with a slight sherry note in the finish. Great value for money. A clear recommendation.

Schön süffiger Rum. Sehr mild. Süß aber nicht zu süß für meinen Geschmack. Der Rum ist ohne Farbstoff und ohne Zucker. Preis- Leistung ist hier Top! Für eine bessere Bewertung ist mir mittlerweile die Sherrynote zu präsent. Dennoch ein guter Rum.

Brett, aber: nach allem Hype hatte ich da in der Nase sogar mehr erwartet. Vollgas Sherry natürlich und alte, volle Barbados-Noten von Frucht usw. Der Sherry hat hier vor allem Charakter und ist kein matschiger Hauch von Wein wie bei anderen PX finishes. Ja gut, der Geschmack. Die Sache mit dem 'bisschen Sherry im Fass vergessen' ist natürlich die maximale Spitze gegen all die Süßrumpanschen. Ich mag den 'Gag' und es funktioniert prächtig. Rosine, Schokolade, Sherry und eine sehr angenehme Süße. Passt alles zusammen und ist absurd süffig. Aber irgendwie fehlt's mir persönlich an Tiefe und Komplexität. Es bleibt halt 'süffig', das aber in richtig gut. Schöner Abschluss nach einigen Verkostungen.

Sweet, quaffable, good as a dessert or for those who have only known sweetened rums. Sherry comes through well. Otherwise it is a bit too thin for me.

Stoff von Wagemut gehört zu meinen Favoriten.

A great opener for a tasting. Very drinkable and fruity, but still lacks depth. Nevertheless, a rock-solid rum with zero additives. This is definitely worthy of attention! Certainly too sweet for professionals, but this rum is not aimed at them either.

Riecht gut, schmeckt aber besser. Milder Rum mit Honig/Karamell/Sirup und frucht-nussiger Sherry-Note zum gutem Preis.

Leider ertränkt der Sherry hier den Rum. Ich finde das Produkt leider viel zu süß. Trotzdem ein ehrlicheres und besseres Produkt als die Süßrums mit Zusätzen.

Eine wunderschöne Farbe im Glas und das ganz ohne den so oft verwendeten Farbstoff. Im Geruch angenehm nach Trauben, Sherry und Holz. Zieht dicke Tränen am Glasrand und schmeckt süß, fruchtig nach Sherry. Der Barbados Rum kommt mild und unaufdringlich durch. Sehr weich im Mund. Ein süßer Rum ohne Zuckerzusatz und Farbstoffe. Die Süße kommt rein vom Sherry. Ganz toll 👏 Edit: nach einer zweiten Verkostung bewerte ich ihn noch etwas höher.
