On the nose old pear and a nice spice - very pleasant. On the palate a great mix of fruitiness, wood influence and vanilla cookies. Very nice monymusk at a relaxed drinking strength. Not a complexity monster, but definitely sweetens the evening.
14.06.2009 A wonderful tasting with a few expats. This is thetasting where I met my long time friend in rum tasting, Tony. A guy from Singapore working and living in Shanghai. He also shared a passion for archery like me, which ended up in many hours spend together. Notes. Light in colour despite age. Fruity with some citrus and vanilla. Palate is lightly oily and warm with raisin and natural sweetness. ABV could have been better integrated. Finish is medium to long and lightly sweet with dried fruit and lightly roasted wood.
