In the nose muted fruity aromas of currant and cherry but also light citrus note, most likely tangerine. Another older tasting. I really like the Savanna releases from Rum Nation because they tend to nail them pretty well. I have also bought the most recent release 2023 because I consider it a nice sipper. This one is intense, fruity and naturally sweet with some caramel and light spices. The palate is dry and spicy/warm. I don't get the cola note, but in the empty glass i can pick up some sherry and coffee.

Für mich der bis dato beste kontinental gereifte Port Mourant. Von dünn und „kopflastig“ weit entfernt. Das Profil erinnert entfernt an den El Dorado 15, jedoch ohne dessen Schwächen.

One of my favorite PMs in terms of price-performance ratio. The sherry finish gives the rum a depth reminiscent of 75 PMs.

I am not quite following the other great reviews this rum has. Don't get me wrong, it's good, I just don't feel it's close to 90. It tastes clearly of Port Mourant, but has a overwhelning bitternes that makes the rum a little unbalanced. The sherry influence lifts this rum a lot.

sehr entspannter PM, bei dem das Sherry Finish in Perfektion eingearbeitet ist und nicht zu sehr dominiert. als easy sipper hervorragend geeignet, aber halt auch nicht genug Charakter um so richtig geil und einzigartig zu sein. 🙏 Johannes Brandl

Kann mit SBS PM 1998 (ebenfalls Sherry Finish) leider nicht ganz mithalten
