Worthy Park Special Cask Release #7 Oloroso
Aromatic, complex Worthy Park with fruity, woody sherry influence.
Dry, complex and leaning into dried fruit, oak, and subtle sherry notes—fans called it "pure joy in a bottle" (@Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰), but it isn’t for everyone. One to try if you enjoy a touch of wood alongside classic Jamaican funk.

How does this rum taste?
Worthy Park’s Special Cask Release #7 Oloroso is all about estery tropical fruit, dried plum, raisins, and layers of wood and leather. The nose is "angenehm duftend" (@Tim) and opens with air, while the palate touches on vanilla and dried fruit, plus the "krasse grapefruit Note" and even some dark chocolate as pointed out by @crazyforgoodbooze. Oloroso cask adds extra dryness and depth, though a few found more wood and sherry than expected. Notably heavier than Single Estate, this is for those after complexity and a distinct character.

I like it well! Finish is well integrated!
For me, it has the same roasted aroma as the hampden overproof. But this one is more complex and interesting because of the oloroso finish.
A classical oloroso finish with a wonderful taste and complexity. Pure joy in a bottle at a good price tag. The price tag for this bottle is very good compared to what you get.
Very similar in taste to the Single Estate Reserve. You get basically the same Worthy Park fruit basket as the Single Estate with a slightly drier finish and even more complexity in the fruit notes through the cask finish. It therefore drinks a little heavier overall compared to the Single Estate and I think you have to be in the right mood for it.
