"The nose is very pungent with lots of alcohol burn. Beyond that there's fresh apple and some lemon but it's hard to get past the burn. For me the palette doesn't have the fruit from the nose. Instead it's got some sweet fudge notes and a tiny amount of wood age. This is all buried in metallic bitterness though. The finish stays bitter but, thankfully, its gone quickly. Not a rum I would recommend for neat drinking. Clearly designed to be buried amount fruit juice in a cocktail."
