It was distilled in 2009 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 9 years. The rum has an ABV of 52%. 19. 01.2019 A nice evening with colleagues from all over Denmark. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: wood, light roasted, dried fruit, cherry, wine, earthy. Palate: wood, light roasted, dry, dried fruit, herbs, wine. Finish: medium to long, wood, roasted, raisin, cherry, herbs.
Nosing brings associations to Barbados ester. Both nosing and taste has very nice elements of fruits and light wood. I would have like to find the ester funch in the tasting to. All in all a well balanced Madeira rum.
