29.01.2022 Going through some samples at home. Notes Transparent in colour. Nose Fresh, vegetal, sugarcane, fruity, overripe, light herbs, light floral. Palate Fresh, round, fruity, light citrus, sugarcane, spice, light floral, light grass. Finish Medium long, round, light grass, citrus, sugarcane.
The nose is still reasonably interesting. After that it becomes quite watery and rather flat. An uncomplicated Agricole.
For a Blanc Rhum is pretty smooth, no harsh alcohol flavor and the sugarcane influence can be perceived all over. Amazing as Cachaça replacement.
