“#4269 23.09.2023 Relaxing after small tasting and a double birthday. Movie and a good rum is never a bad idea. I like this one. Just needs to rest for a good while before giving it a go. I got the bottle pretty cheap in a bundle which is why I have it. The nose is fresh and fruity with nice floral notes and a light smoky touch. The palate is oily and intense with fruit and spices. There is also some solvents and earthy notes in the back. The finish is long and warm/spicy with wood, citrus and light solvents and menthol. Draws nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some dried fruit and herbal notes.”

“Very fruity „delicious“ in the nose. Super delicious intense in mouth with a super finish. The alcohol is integrated very well. This rum needs time to fully open! At least 1 hour Nose: fruity, some notes of banana, coconut, papaya, dried apricot, orange peal, oak, marzipan and the spicy :3 Mouth: It‘s a fully body of wood, anise, tobacco and some fruits. Very delicious. Finish: Long and minty with dominat notes of the barrel. Very Very good!”

“Update: after rating this rum so poorly, it's time for a little update. I have come to appreciate the Clarendon / Monymusk profile and now have to correct a few points upwards here. There are still some things I don't quite like here, but now it's a rum I like to drink and a profile I'm starting to look out for.”
